Welcome Luke

Luke showed up yesterday. He weighed in at a healthy 8lb 9oz and is doing very well. I got to hold him for a while, which is one of the most pleasant of my recent experiences. I pray that this child will be healthy, happy, safe, gentle and kind. I pray for him to always know that he is a child of God and that he his loved. I hope he always knows this as he walks through this life that doesn’t always work the way we hope.
