:OLLI: Writing Our LivesThe is the 3rd or 4th time round that I have taken part in the “Writing Our Lives” class offer through our local OLLI@Auburn organization (Osher Lifelong Learners Institute at Auburn). I’m just a beginner! The class is filled with people who have been there for many years — some as long as 11, as they were “Charter Members.” We listen to the words of others, we are presented with writing prompts for memoir writing, we take time to write from the prompts. And we begin the process of “reading as a writer.”

One would think this might make me more prolific here on this site.  Maybe, in the future it will. For now, it does keep me thinking back through all that has made me who I am while considering what my children and grandchildren might find of interest if they ever want to peer more deeply in to what makes me tick.
